Each year St. Louis home builders, architects, and designers pull their resources and skills together to create unique and fun playhouses during the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Kid’s Playhouse Celebration.
Not long ago, Hibbs Homes was honored to work with local architect Jeff Day, Diane Breckenridge Interiors, Bill Ball Construction, Great Central Lumber Company, Eureka Forge, Earthworks, artists Diane Burpee and Susan Mathers, and HWP Rigging to build a pint-sized version of an old, western Sheriff’s office.
The playhouse features wood paneling, swinging saloon-style doors and shuttered windows, a porch with round timber beams and wooden benches.
In all eleven playhouses were built, and three were auctioned off during the Wild West Fest to raise money for CASA. You can see more photos of the playhouses that were built, and check out photos from the event by heading over to St. Louis Homes & Lifestyle’s website to see their recent article on the event.
